Women's Sober Living & Recovery in Baldwin County, Alabama

The Landing Recovery for Women

The Landing is a women's sober living and recovery home in Baldwin County, Alabama, providing women with the support, structure, accountability, and community they need to build a new life in recovery. Our mission is to help women establish a strong foundation for long-term sobriety from drug and alcohol addiction while embracing the spiritual principles of recovery and developing the tools necessary to live a healthy, purposeful, and fulfilling life.

As Alabama's first NARR-certified women's recovery residence, The Landing provides a safe, structured, and supportive sober living environment where women can continue their recovery while learning how to live successfully without drugs and alcohol.

More Than a Sober Living Home

Recovery is about more than simply stopping the use of drugs and alcohol. It is about learning how to live a new way of life.

At The Landing, women are given the opportunity to break free from the cycle of addiction, awaken their spirit, rediscover their truth and potential, and begin creating a life they may never have imagined possible.

Our women's sober living program combines structure, accountability, recovery support, life-skills development, spiritual principles, and community. Residents support one another while building the foundation necessary for long-term recovery and lasting sobriety.

We believe women can do more than simply survive addiction. They can recover, rebuild, and flourish.

A Structured Year of Recovery

The Landing offers a year-long sober living program for women designed to give residents the time, structure, and support needed to establish a strong foundation in recovery.

During their time at The Landing, women learn to:

  • Practice sober living and personal responsibility
  • Participate in 12-Step recovery
  • Develop healthy relationships and friendships
  • Rebuild relationships with family and friends
  • Develop confidence and self-esteem
  • Learn practical life skills
  • Pursue employment and financial independence
  • Address the consequences of past choices
  • Incorporate spiritual principles into everyday life
  • Discover gratitude, purpose, and personal responsibility
  • Build a meaningful life in recovery
  • We also work with the court system when appropriate, helping residents take responsibility for the past while creating a healthier future.

A Community of Women in Recovery

One of the most important parts of recovery is discovering that you do not have to do it alone.

The Landing provides a community where women encourage, challenge, and support one another throughout the recovery process. Through daily recovery activities, 12-Step meetings, sponsorship, Big Book studies, meditation, house meetings, and shared responsibility, residents develop the tools and relationships necessary to continue growing in sobriety.

Our goal is not simply to help women stay sober.

Our goal is to help women discover who they can become in recovery.

Alabama Addicts Share Horror Stories with Fentanyl Addiction

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WKRG) — It’s a drug so dangerous that just touching it can kill you, yet some addicts in our area are abusing it every day. We are talking about Fentanyl. WKRG talked to recovering addicts at The Landing for Women in Baldwin County about how Fentanyl addiction took hold of their lives.

Haley Beason is the Executive Director of The Landing. Her struggle with addiction led her to open the recovery home for women in Baldwin County. She said that fentanyl started to rear its ugly head a couple of years ago, and now many drugs are being laced with it. She said it’s become the drug of choice for a lot of the women who come through her doors.
